Learners will develop a better understanding of the different 2-Wire technologies available today, best practices, and how to troubleshoot them. They will increase their familiarity and comfort level with terminology, improve their use of various digital meters and the use of controller diagnostics.
This course will cover:
a. Different types of 2-Wire controllers available today with their advantages and disadvantages from a technician’s and end user’s point of view.
b. Specific troubleshooting strategies to use on each technology so that issues can be quickly isolated.
c. The language of 2-Wire components and technology, so that the technician is familiar and can speak the lingo.

Who should attend:
Irrigation installation and repair technicians with some field experience 2-wire components and use of a digital multimeter to measure ohms, amps, and volts.
